우크라이나에서 태어나 상트페테르부르크에서 공부했으며, 1976년 소련을 떠나 매사추세츠에 정착하기 전까지 인지도를 얻으며 성공가도를 달렸다. 그 이후로도 수많은 상을 수상했으며, 많은 작품들을 내놓았다.

 

화가로서 뿐만 아니라 작가로도 활동하며, 자신의 삶과 작품을 담은 책인 Anatoly Dverin - American Impressionist를 출판했다.

 

유화와 파스텔에 능통하여 색상 및 질감의 미묘한 배합을 통해 작품을 탄생시킨다. 평생의 헌신과 노력을 통해 연마된 능력으로 인상파 화가 모네와 피사로가 그에게 가장 큰 영향을 미쳤다.

Anatoly Dverin was born in Ukraine, studied in St. Petersburg and earned wide recognition and success before leaving the Soviet Union in 1976, eventually settling in Massachusetts. Since that time, he has amassed numerous awards and created a breathtaking body of work. He is a popular demonstrator at the major pastel societies. He recently published a book of his life and work, Anatoly Dverin - American Impressionist.

 

Anatoly is fluent in both oil and pastel, producing paintings that transcend his skill as a draftsman and his subtle use of color and texture - abilities honed through a lifetime of devotion and hard work. The Impressionist painters Monet and Pissaro are his greatest influences. Anatoly works with each student to develop and improve your own individual style. This is an opportunity to learn from a master, eager to share a lifetime of painting experience with warmth and humor. The subject will be still life and landscape.
