About Her
All my life I have loved painting and drawing, art is my passion and my joy.
I grew up in the countryside so I have always been surrounded and inspired by nature. One of my favourite things to do is walk... I sketch and make mental notes whilst out and about which then become ingredients for my paintings - a hare dashing across my path, wildflowers swishing in the breeze, birds singing in the hedgerows.
I remember the colours and textures of the landscape, noticing the effects of the changing seasons and weather on everything. I then set to work on my paintings when I return to my studio.
I love to paint wild birds and animals, countryide and coastal scenery along with gardens, old buildings and little bits of country life.
My paintings are a magical interpretation of what I've seen mixed in with happy thoughts about a place, illustrating special moments in time.
My aim is to inspire others, create a feeling of warmth and capture their imagination too. Be absorbed into a painting, feel happy. Enjoy.
