For many years, Lori has gained recognition as an artist. She quickly learned that she had a remarkable talent for making people trust all kinds of living things. Her creations reflect the delights she felt upon realizing this. Since she was 13 years old, she has sold paintings and taught art classes to support her passions after realizing that her work could help her realize some of her most cherished ambitions.
She was able to fully sustain her beloved horse thanks to her artistic talents. She continues to ride horses frequently today and has discovered that it is one of her interests that feeds her creative process.
Lori was raised in Pasadena, California, and attended California State University Long Beach for her formal art training. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in art with a focus in printmaking. She spent numerous hours on the beach indulging in the freedom and overwhelming power of the ocean. Her early works clearly reflect the ocean's impact and the daydreams it evokes.
She increased her range of subjects by adding the beauty of the natural world she discovered when she moved to the Colorado Rockies. The ability Lori possesses to appreciate her surroundings and combine them into her works of art is unmatched.
Lori preferred to be as autonomous as possible and was not drawn to the commercial art scene. via order to promote her artwork via cards and prints while maintaining her creative control and freedom, she founded Dandelion Press. She sold only copies and resolutely held onto her originals.
She had spent 26 years juggling the demands of running a business with her artistic aspirations when a mutual friend introduced her to Dianne Borsini-Burr. Dianne's knowledge and loving encouragement have made it possible for Lori to concentrate only on the creative parts that she finds so fulfilling.
