Mary Kenyon, California, Seashell Artist, Present
Many modern artists nowadays are searching for novel ways to convey their distinctive art in a way that is distinct from that of others. They are giving up on employing conventional art mediums in favor of occasionally smaller but unexpected items. Craftswoman Mary Kenyon from California is one artist who is in fact well-known for this.
She creates stunning decorative jewelry dishes out of actual seashells. Her intricate creations have the appearance of fragments of a priceless antiquity discovered on sunken ships. She is a self-taught artist who gets her inspiration from her father, an exceptionally gifted oil painter.
Wondering how she creates such stunning pieces? Decoupage is a technique used by Kenyon to create her intricate artwork on genuine seashells. She then painstakingly adds tiny decorative accents made of brass or Swarovski crystals. Her artwork has the appearance of being from the Victorian era and possibly being from an aristocrat.
Check out her incredibly imaginative artwork, which resembles an antique treasure you may discover at the bottom of the sea,
